Questions about becoming a scout
Do I need to work at a venture fund?
No. Scout programs often recruit people with useful proximity to founders, technologies, industries, or startup communities. Each program sets its own requirements.
Are scout programs paid?
Some disclose carry, a stipend, or another arrangement. Others are unpaid or do not publish terms. Superscout shows compensation only when the available evidence supports it.
Can I send deals without joining a program?
Some investors accept referrals outside formal programs. Review the investor and program records, respect founder consent, and do not assume a submission creates a relationship.
