A way into the startup world. Superscout maps the investors, programs, accelerators, universities and places that make it up, and gives you three ways in: scout startups, raise for your own, or back someone else's.
Is it legit?
Facts on a page carry their source and the date they were checked. What cannot be sourced stays off the page, which is why you will find blanks where other sites show a plausible number. If something is wrong, every page has a report link.
What does it cost?
Joining costs nothing, and neither does being found. Pro adds search, a verified profile and a private deal vault. Paying buys tools, never favor: it does not change how any program or investor sees you, and nobody can pay to rank higher here.
Where do I start?
With what you came to do: scout, raise or invest. Each has its own page, and each starts from where you already are.
Who sees my profile?
Your public profile is public, which is the point of it. What you mark private stays private.
Can you get me into a program?
No. Programs choose who they take. What you get here is what each one asks for, when it opens and how to apply.
Something here is wrong. Now what?
Say so. Every page has a report link. A correction backed by a primary source goes in, and the date on the page moves.
Where do the facts come from?
Program pages, organization pages, press coverage and public directories. Each page lists what was used and when it was last checked.
Why is this field blank?
Because nobody has published it, or it has not been confirmed yet. A blank never means zero, and gaps are never filled with estimates.
How often is a page checked?
Each page carries the date it was last checked. Programs change deadlines and terms without saying so, so the program's own page wins for anything with a date on it.
Is Superscout affiliated with the programs and investors listed?
No. Being listed is not a partnership, a referral deal or an endorsement in either direction.
Can a program pay to be listed or ranked higher?
No. There is no paid placement anywhere on this site.
Do I need venture experience?
No. Scout programs recruit people outside venture on purpose, founders raise a first round with none, and plenty of angels start from an operating job.
How much time does scouting take?
Programs describe it as part-time, alongside a job. Where a program states hours, its page shows them.
How do I get an organization listed or corrected?
Use the report link on any page, or the contact page. People correcting their own organization's entry go to the front of the queue.

Found something wrong on a page?
Send the page address, the fact that needs correcting, and the strongest source you have. The claim is reviewed against its source and the correction routed to the right record.
Corrections never cost anything and never will. The same is true of an organization asking to fix or remove something about it.
