Foresight Fellowship

The Foresight Fellowship is a year-long program from Foresight Institute, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, for early-career scientists, engineers and innovators working to advance transformative technology. It gives fellows a network of senior researchers, mentors and funders, platforms to share their work, and knowledge exchange with leading experts.

Priority areas are secure AI (computer security, automated alignment, secure multi-agent systems), longevity biotechnology (lab automation, reversible biostasis, healthcare 3.0), nanotechnology (molecular 3D printing, molecular simulation), neurotechnology (brain-computer interfaces, whole brain emulation, neuro-informed AI) and Existential Hope (strategic foresight and radical progress).

Fellows get introductions, paid travel to one technical workshop and one Vision Weekend, membership in a seminar group, priority access to Foresight's AI Nodes in San Francisco and Berlin, and quarterly career counseling. There is no minimum work requirement, and fellows join the alumni community afterward.

Early-career scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs and innovators with a strong track record (publications, lab placements or notable projects) whose work fits Foresight's focus areas. Foresight looks for domain expertise, technical excellence, an ambitious vision and commitment to growth.
