The CatalyzU Venture Capital Fellowship and General Catalyst GC Venture Fellowship are two distinct yet related programs aimed at different geographies. CatalyzU's program introduces candidates to venture capital fundamentals, investment philosophy, and VC processes, while General Catalyst's fellowship supports student founders with capital and mentorship. Graduates from CatalyzU become 'Young African Catalysts' with access to networks of African founders and VCs, while GC fellows gain support for launching their ventures.

The CatalyzU Venture Capital Fellowship focuses on empowering aspiring VCs in Africa by providing them with essential training and networking opportunities. The General Catalyst GC Venture Fellowship aims to support student founders by offering capital and mentorship, fostering a community of innovative entrepreneurs.
The CatalyzU program costs $1,300, with up to 50% scholarships available. The cost for the GC Fellowship varies.
The program operates in both Africa and the United States, providing a hybrid experience for participants.
