Clean Energy Ventures (CEV) operates a fellowship program for individuals seeking hands-on experience in climate tech venture capital. Fellows partner closely with the CEV team on investment diligence, market research, and portfolio support across the energy transition landscape. Founded in 2017, CEV manages two funds with over $400 million in total capital commitments, investing globally in early-stage climate tech companies across North America, Europe, and Israel.

Clean Energy Ventures focuses on investing in early-stage climate tech companies that contribute to the energy transition. The fellowship aims to develop talent in this sector by providing practical experience and mentorship.
The fellowship is open to individuals interested in climate tech venture capital. Applicants should have a background in engineering, science, business, or related fields and a commitment to energy transition work.
There is no cost to participate in the fellowship program.
The fellowship operates on a cohort model with Fall and Spring cohorts. The recent cohort celebrated was for Fall 2025.
The fellowship requires a part-time commitment, allowing participants to gain experience while potentially balancing other responsibilities.
The program is designed to be remote, allowing fellows to work closely with the CEV team from various locations.
