Fellowship
The 5AM Ventures Fellowship is a paid, full-time role that provides hands-on experience in both venture creation and venture capital at one of the leading early-stage biotech investment firms. Founded in 2002, 5AM Ventures manages approximately $1.1 billion in regulatory assets under management and invests through its current vehicles: Fund VII ($450 million) and Opportunities II ($300 million).
The fellowship comes in two variants: the standard 5AM Fellowship for candidates with strong life sciences backgrounds and the 5AM AI Fellowship for those with computer science backgrounds and AI/ML experience. Both variants are based in 5AM's Boston office for approximately six months.
Fellows work directly with the investment team on real opportunities, gaining exposure to both venture capital and venture creation.
