Alix Ventures is a seed-stage TechBio venture capital firm that invests in companies at the intersection of technology and biology, focusing on synthetic biology, biomanufacturing, computational biology, and discovery enablement tools. The Residency program is a one-year, paid, part-time program that selects two residents annually from a pool of over 4,000 applicants, yielding an acceptance rate of approximately 0.1%. Residents commit approximately 15 hours per week and progress through four structured tracks, actively influencing investment decisions by the end of the program. The program boasts a 100% placement rate into startups and venture capital.

Alix Ventures focuses on investing in companies at the intersection of technology and biology, particularly in the TechBio sector. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis year-round via a Google Form on the Alix Ventures website.
$5,000 annual stipend. Weekly mentorship from Alix partners. Real investment committee participation influencing pre-seed checks.
There is no cost to participate in the program; it is free for accepted residents.
