MIMIR Fellows - Deep Tech Research Commercialization Program

MIMIR Fellows is a selective 6-month international program designed for ambitious students and early-career professionals focused on mastering research commercialization and deep tech entrepreneurship. The program combines intensive classroom education, hands-on internship experience, and a cohort-based project to develop future leaders in the deep tech ecosystem.

MIMIR Fellows aims to strengthen the research commercialization ecosystem by developing future leaders in deep tech. The program focuses on equipping participants with the necessary skills and networks to succeed in deep tech entrepreneurship and research commercialization.

Prospective applicants should demonstrate a strong academic or professional background, a clear commitment to deep tech and entrepreneurship, and an international mindset with a collaborative approach to learning.

Eligible candidates include university students (undergraduate or graduate) and early-career professionals (0-3 years out) with a demonstrated interest in deep tech and commercialization.

The MIMIR Fellows program is invite-only. Prospective fellows are identified through university partner networks, previous cohort referrals, sponsor organization recommendations, and MIMIR's scouting at conferences.

Participants gain access to a network of 40+ expert mentors, a deep understanding of research commercialization pathways, real-world internship experience, and the MIMIR Fellow credential, which is valued in deep tech hiring and fundraising.

The program lasts for 6 months, with a pre-program preparation phase of 2-3 weeks, followed by a 2-week intensive bootcamp, a 2-3 month internship, and a final 1-2 month capstone project.

Over 100 fellows have graduated from the program, with more than 80% employed in venture capital, startups, or innovation roles post-program. Cohort-led projects have positively influenced ecosystem initiatives.
