Inicio Ventures Fellowship

Inicio Ventures is a wealth generation platform launched by Hispanics in Philanthropy that manages impact investments, talent advancement programs, and ecosystem building for Latinx founders. The Capstone Venture Fellows program develops the next generation of diverse investors through a paid internship for current graduate students. Over 10 weeks, fellows develop skills, relationships, and knowledge to become future diversity-fluent investors. Inicio Ventures operates through integrated programs including impact investments (Generation 1 Fund and Latinx Campus Fund), pitch awards, and a startup registry showcasing 100 Rising Latinx Founders.

The program aims to develop the next generation of diverse investors, focusing on Latinx entrepreneurship and impact investing. It addresses the need for increased diversity in venture capital by providing training and opportunities for emerging diverse investors.

Participants receive a paid internship, venture capital training, relationship-building opportunities with investors and founders, knowledge development in impact investing, exposure to the Latinx startup ecosystem, potential for full-time opportunities, and participation in a pitch competition network.

The program lasts for 10 weeks, during which fellows engage in training and relationship-building activities.

Capstone fellows transition into investor and fund management roles, contributing to the showcase of 100 Rising Latinx Founders and the portfolio companies from Generation 1 Fund and Latinx Campus Fund.
