Included VC runs the first global, fully funded Fellowship created to “change the face of venture capital” by opening the industry to people of every gender, race, geography, age, neuro‑profile and socioeconomic background.
The programme lasts five months and is delivered 100 percent online with optional in‑person summits. Fellows commit 15–20 hours a week to a rigorous curriculum that blends live masterclasses, financial‑modelling labs, investment‑committee simulations, memo‑writing workshops, career clinics and peer‑to‑peer learning. Sessions are timed 17:00‑20:00 UK to accommodate full‑time jobs.
Content covers the full VC stack—fund mechanics, sourcing, due diligence, term‑sheet negotiation, portfolio support and exits—taught by partners at backer funds including Seedcamp, Creandum, Notion and Mangrove.
Each cohort (Class ’24 will run Sept 2024 – Mar 2025) accepts around 50 fellows chosen from several thousand applicants across 40+ countries. Graduates join the lifelong VC Avengers alumni community: 85 percent of those actively job‑hunting land investment‑team roles at firms such as Atomico, Octopus, M12 and Kaya VC, while others raise their own funds or startups.
The Fellowship is funded by a consortium of 12+ venture firms plus the European Investment Fund and Wilson Sonsini, ensuring zero cost to participants.

Applications open each May and close mid‑August. Stage 1 is a blind written application; Stage 2 requires short video submissions; Stage 3 is a peer interview with an alumnus; and Stage 4 is a final conversation with the core team.
Candidates must show concrete efforts to break into VC, articulate a diversity dimension and commit 15–20 hours weekly. Offers are extended on a rolling basis; those accepted start as “Cohort Members” and graduate to Fellow status after completing all coursework and deep‑dive assignments.
Participation is cost‑free; only optional summit travel is self‑funded.
The Fellowship does not pay stipends or carry; instead it provides tuition‑free education, mentorship and a global network valued as the primary upside. Travel to optional in‑person summits is self‑funded, though partial scholarships may be available.
The 2024‑25 cycle follows a clear arc.
Tech.eu hailed Included VC as “tackling the systemic lack of representation in European venture” (2021). Private Equity Wire noted the “nine‑month fellowship backed by 12 tier‑one funds” and its global reach (2021). The European Investment Fund renewed funding in 2022, enabling up to 100 fellows per cohort. Silicon Canals and Forbes have profiled its mission to build a diverse investor class.
