Fellowship
The Ballistic x Pursuit Cyber Fellows Program is a transformative workforce development initiative launched in April 2024 to address the severe cybersecurity talent shortage by recruiting and training talented individuals from non-traditional and underrepresented communities. The program represents a partnership between Ballistic Ventures, a venture capital firm exclusively focused on cybersecurity innovation, and Pursuit, a nonprofit workforce development organization with a proven track record of helping low-income individuals launch careers in technology.
The program operates on a structured 4-year model. In the first year, fellows complete intensive, high-quality training designed to equip them with modern cybersecurity skills, threat analysis capabilities, incident response experience, and fundamental security architecture knowledge. Following successful completion of the bootcamp-style training year, fellows are placed into full-time employment at founding partner organizations, including leading companies such as Blackstone, Citi, Uber, and Peloton.
