Fellowship
The 77 Partners Fellows program is an inaugural venture capital fellowship launched in 2024-25 by 77 Partners, a Brisbane-based venture capital firm. The program was created specifically to introduce women across Queensland to early-stage venture capital investing, addressing the gender gap in the Australian VC ecosystem.
The fellowship runs for three months and gives participants a structured inside look at how venture capital operates. The curriculum includes interactive workshops, one-on-one coaching sessions, and conversations with leading female venture capital investors from both Australia and the United States. Participants gain exposure to multiple aspects of VC operations including deal sourcing, founder support, fund mechanics, due diligence processes, and investment decision-making.
The inaugural cohort selected ten women from across Queensland's startup and innovation ecosystem. The program is based at 77 Partners' offices in The Precinct, TC Beirne Building in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. 77 Partners focuses on early-stage investing in the Queensland and broader Australian startup ecosystem.
