Fellowship
The UConn InsurTech Fellows Program offers students a comprehensive learning experience focused on understanding the insurance technology sector, entrepreneurial development within InsurTech, and practical experience with startup companies. The program combines academic coursework with hands-on experiential learning through partnerships with InsurTech startups. Fellows participate in a foundational course covering InsurTech industry fundamentals, including case studies and industry expert speakers, followed by experiential learning where they are paired with actual InsurTech startups to contribute 10+ hours weekly on real projects. The program includes mentorship from experienced insurance professionals and concludes with a capstone project.

Open to full-time students enrolled at UConn or University of Hartford with an interest in insurance technology and entrepreneurship.
The program is tuition-based, with costs varying by student status.
The program lasts for two semesters during the academic year.
Fellows are expected to contribute 10+ hours weekly on real projects with InsurTech startups.
The program requires in-person participation at UConn.
