The Deutschman Venture Fellows Program is a prestigious UCLA Anderson School of Business fellowship providing MBA students with hands-on venture capital management and investment training. Fellows are placed as summer associates in leading VC firms or venture-backed portfolio companies, combining academic preparation with real-world deal experience. The program emphasizes practical experience combined with relationship building in the Southern California venture ecosystem.

The Deutschman Venture Fellows Program aims to create a pipeline of diverse, talented MBAs into venture capital by providing them with practical experience and mentorship in the field.
The selection process is rigorous, focusing on academic excellence, technical background, work experience, motivation, and personal characteristics.
The fellowship does not provide direct compensation to fellows.
There is no cost to participate in the fellowship.
The fellowship lasts for three months, from late June through August, during which fellows work full-time as associates at sponsoring firms.
Fellows are expected to commit full-time during the three-month summer internship.
The program requires in-person participation as fellows are placed in VC firms or portfolio companies.
