Fellowship
BioGenerator Ventures Fellowship represents a comprehensive approach to developing the next generation of venture capital professionals in the life sciences and biotech sectors. Based in St. Louis, BioGenerator operates dual fellowship programs designed to attract top scientific talent and expose them to the business aspects of commercializing breakthrough technologies.
The primary Venture Capital Fellows Program is a 12-24 month immersive experience modeled after prestigious fellowships from the National Institutes of Health and other competitive scientific institutions. The program is designed for highly trained scientists and technologists who demonstrate genuine interest in translating research into real-world commercial impact. Fellows receive exposure to early-stage venture capital investing, startup creation, company growth strategies, and development best practices.
BioGenerator also operates the Venture Fellows Program in partnership with Washington University in St. Louis, offering a more intensive six-month curriculum focused on postdoctoral researchers. This program combines experiential learning in venture capital with hands-on exposure to company creation, providing fellows with strategic skills required in investment and corporate communities while building their networks with entrepreneurs, portfolio company leaders, and industry professionals.
