The Conscious Investor Fellowship (CIF) is the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region's first pan-regional investor program focused on impact investing. Established in 2020 through a partnership between StartAD and VentureSouq, CIF empowers regional capital allocators to align investment with purpose and support climate tech innovation. The program offers a comprehensive curriculum covering conscious investment strategies, startup due diligence, impact measurement, and sector-specific masterclasses in HealthTech, EdTech, Environmental/Climate Tech, and AgTech.

The Conscious Investor Fellowship focuses on empowering capital allocators in the MENA region to invest in climate tech and clean technology. The program aims to address the critical funding gap in climate tech within the region, which currently accounts for only 0.2% of global climate tech funding. By redirecting regional capital toward climate solutions, the fellowship supports the development of founder ecosystems in climate and environmental tech.
The program runs for 8 weeks from April to July 2025.
The program is offered in a hybrid format, combining virtual and in-person sessions.
