The New Stack Ventures Fellowship Program provides early-career individuals with hands-on experience in deal sourcing and investment evaluation. Designed for those seeking to develop core venture capital competencies, the program allows participants to explore if a career in VC is right for them. Fellows engage in deal sourcing, investment diligence, and contribute to investment memos, all while building relationships with founders and operators in a supportive environment.

New Stack Ventures focuses on investing in 'the Outsiders'—founders from non-traditional backgrounds and underrepresented demographics. The fellowship aims to build a talent pipeline for the venture capital industry while providing diverse perspectives in deal evaluation.
The program is open to early-career professionals, undergraduates, recent graduates, MBA candidates, and career-changers interested in venture capital.
The fellowship does not provide any financial compensation.
There is no cost to participate in the fellowship.
The fellowship lasts for an academic year, approximately 9 months, with a flexible time commitment of around 5 hours per week.
Participants are expected to commit approximately 5 hours per week, making it a part-time engagement.
The program is hybrid, allowing for remote participation with possible office access.
