The Global Epicenter of Mobility (GEM) EIR Program is a regional, mobility-specific Entrepreneur-in-Residence initiative launched by Ann Arbor SPARK in partnership with the Global Epicenter for Mobility initiative. The program aims to retain executive-level talent within Michigan's mobility ecosystem by embedding experienced C-level and senior professionals with early-stage mobility companies.
The program connects accomplished business leaders with proven track records in mobility, automotive, transportation technology, and related sectors with early-stage startups to provide mentorship, operational guidance, and strategic direction. EIRs help portfolio companies achieve critical milestones including product development, market entry, fundraising, and scaling.
The initiative builds on Ann Arbor SPARK's successful local EIR program, scaling the model regionally across southeast Michigan's vibrant mobility ecosystem.
