The BVCC Summer Internship Program is the core internship tier of the Black Venture Capital Consortium's comprehensive education and placement pipeline. The program strategically recruits and places top HBCU students into 11-week paid summer internships at established venture capital firms, tech startups, and major technology companies.
The program combines structured boot camp preparation, hands-on internship experience, and a required capstone project. BVCC has successfully placed over 101 students across multiple career tracks including Venture Capital, Sales & Marketing, Product Management, and UX Design.
Interns are compensated at $14,000-$15,000+ for their 11-week commitment and gain direct exposure to high-growth tech and venture capital careers while building networks with industry professionals.

The BVCC Summer Internship Program aims to increase diversity in the venture capital and tech industries by providing HBCU students with paid internship opportunities. The program focuses on equipping students with the necessary skills and experiences to thrive in high-growth tech and venture capital careers.
The program is by invitation only, targeting rising seniors, graduate students, or recent graduates from HBCUs by the start of the internship.
$14,000-$15,000+ internship compensation, 2-week intensive boot camp, hands-on industry experience, capstone project development, mentorship from industry professionals, networking with BVCC alumni and partner companies.
There is no cost to participants for the internship program.
The program lasts for 11 weeks during the summer, with a 2-week boot camp at the beginning.
The internship requires a full-time commitment over the 11-week summer period.
