Developed through a partnership between Endeavor Jordan and Silicon Badia with USAID funding, the program represents an innovative approach to early-stage venture capital investing in the Jordan startup ecosystem. The program operates by empowering a select group of individual scouts to make small-ticket investments into early-stage companies. These scouts bring diverse expertise and perspectives to identify promising opportunities across multiple sectors and geographies. The model is designed to widen investor participation in new economic sectors and catalyze early-stage investing activity. A distinctive feature of the Beyond Capital Scout Program is its matching capital component. Scouts are required to help investee companies secure co-investors and angels willing to invest alongside Beyond Capital, effectively leveraging additional capital for portfolio companies while building and educating an investor community throughout Jordan and beyond. This approach strengthens the startup ecosystem by creating networks of multiple investors around each opportunity rather than relying solely on Beyond Capital's capital.
