Fellowship
Atento Capital is a Tulsa, Oklahoma-based venture capital firm founded in 2020 and backed by the George Kaiser Family Foundation. Since founding, the firm has deployed $500M+ in venture capital, invested in 35 venture funds and studios, and built a portfolio of 66+ companies. The University Investment Fellows Program is an 8-month program (July-February) paying $500/month with additional bonuses up to $1,000 for sourcing startups that participate in the Annual University Pitch Competition. Fellows commit 5-10 hours per week plus 4 weekend intensives in Tulsa (July orientation, August launch, January finals with investment deadline). Fellows complete the GoingVC industry-leading VC training program, conduct campus outreach and startup sourcing (September-December), and participate in the firm's investment process. The program culminates in the Annual University Pitch Competition in Tulsa, where the most promising student-sourced startups pitch for investment.

Atento Capital focuses on empowering the next generation of venture capitalists through hands-on experience in sourcing and evaluating startups. The program aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical venture capital experience, fostering a diverse and inclusive environment in the investment landscape.
The program is open to students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree-granting programs at US universities. Applications can be submitted through the program's website.
