Overview

Angel Squad is an angel investing education and community initiative run by Hustle Fund, a pre-seed and seed-stage venture capital fund co-founded by Elizabeth Yin and Eric Bahn. The program targets founders and operators who want to learn angel investing and gain access to Hustle Fund's deal flow. The free introductory course (under 10 minutes) covers what angel investing is and how it works, why founders make great angel investors, and how to leverage founder skills in angel investing. Beyond the free course, Angel Squad operates as a vetted community of angel investors who get access to Hustle Fund's deals and investor education. The full Angel Squad membership (paid) provides deal flow access, co-investment opportunities alongside Hustle Fund, educational resources, and community with other angel investors. Hustle Fund's track record includes early investments in Webflow ($4B valuation), NerdWallet (IPO), and Boom ($1B+ valuation), giving Angel Squad members access to a pipeline of pre-seed and seed deals from an established fund.

Investment Focus

Hustle Fund backs “hilariously early” software founders worldwide, writing $25 k–$50 k pre‑seed cheques at the idea or MVP stage and then helping teams reach product‑market fit through weekly tactical support, community introductions and follow‑on capital. The firm believes speed, scrappiness and founder hustle—not warm networks—predict outsized outcomes.
