Latitud Fellowship

The Latitud Fellowship is a flagship accelerator program operated by Latitud, designed for Latin American pre-founders and early-stage founders. The program combines direct funding with mentorship, community access, and investor introductions to help founders refine their ideas and attract subsequent venture capital investment. Over its history, participants have collectively raised over $1 billion from venture capital investors, showcasing the program's effectiveness in supporting startup growth.

Latitud Fellowship focuses on empowering founders in Latin America, particularly those building in sectors like AI, fintech, and software innovation. The program aims to support underserved ecosystems by providing substantial funding and mentorship, helping startups achieve product-market fit and secure further investment.

Applicants should focus on demonstrating their startup's potential and readiness for mentorship and funding. Clear articulation of their vision and market understanding is crucial.

Pre-seed stage founders (idea to MVP stage) and early-stage teams (1-3 founders) are eligible to apply. A Latin American focus is preferred but not required.

Applications typically open in July for the following year's cohorts. Founders at the pre-seed stage (idea to MVP) are encouraged to apply.

Participants gain access to funding, intensive mentorship, community support, and introductions to potential investors, enhancing their chances of successful fundraising.

The program lasts 9 weeks, divided into two phases: four weeks for ideation and thesis pressure-testing, followed by four weeks for MVP building and validation, culminating in a final week in San Francisco.

Notable alumni include Alinea Health, BHub, Finkargo, and Pomelo, all of which have successfully raised significant venture capital post-program.
