AVCA (the African Private Capital Association, formerly the African Venture Capital Association) is a pan-African industry body championing private investment into Africa. The organization provides independent industry research, best-practice training programs, and networking opportunities to members spanning private equity and venture capital firms, institutional investors, foundations, endowments, pension funds, DFIs, professional service firms, and academia. Research did not identify a formal fellowship program operated directly by AVCA. The organization runs conferences (including its annual AVCA Conference), research publications, and member training, but a structured fellowship with cohorts, applications, and curriculum was not found.
