Fellowship
The Venture Fellows Program at UT Austin's Texas McCombs School of Business is a highly selective, two-semester fellowship placing 18 top full-time MBA students as interns in leading venture capital and private equity firms. Founded in 1999, the program combines practical internship experience (approximately 10 hours per week) with specialized curriculum taught by venture capital and private equity professionals. Fellows attend weekly guest lectures from industry experts discussing relevant VC topics and experiences. Approximately 25% of Venture Fellows alumni are currently active in venture capital or private equity industries, demonstrating the program's strong career impact. The program is managed by McCombs MBA students and provides a competitive pathway for those targeting VC/PE careers.

Participants do not receive a stipend; the program is part of the MBA tuition.
The cost is part of the MBA tuition.
The program lasts for two semesters, concurrent with MBA coursework.
