Flare Capital Scholars Program

The Flare Scholar Program is an annual professional development initiative for aspiring healthcare leaders, mid-career executives, and students passionate about healthcare technology innovation. Now in its tenth year, the program has developed 445 current and alumni scholars who pursue careers across healthcare venture capital, startup operations, and innovation leadership. The program builds a community of promising, young, and diverse executives who are passionate about healthcare technology innovation, emphasizing education, mentorship, and network building within the healthcare innovation ecosystem.

The Flare Scholar Program aims to develop a sustained community of healthcare technology advocates by providing venture capital education, mentorship, and scouting responsibilities within the firm's investment ecosystem.

Applicants are encouraged to demonstrate their passion for healthcare technology and innovation in their applications.

Eligibility includes current graduate students, mid-career professionals, and individuals with entrepreneurial or venture investing interests in healthcare technology.

The program is open to current graduate school students from leading business, medical, and healthcare institutions, mid-career professionals from preeminent healthcare companies, and individuals passionate about healthcare technology transformation.

Participants gain access to mentorship, networking opportunities, and foundational knowledge in healthcare technology venture capital, including market trends and investment decision frameworks.

The program operates on an annual cohort basis, with ongoing engagement throughout the year.
