mHUB Accelerator & Landis Family HardTech Development Fellows

mHUB is a Chicago-based hardtech innovation center and venture platform supporting physical-product startups, manufacturers, and technical builders. The mHUB Accelerator is a six-month startup accelerator for early-stage hardtech companies, followed by 18 months of additional support, lab access, mentorship, and corporate/investor connections. The current energy-focused accelerator cycle is the 2026-2027 Compute-Energy Nexus Cohort, aimed at startups working on data center efficiency, grid resilience, energy infrastructure, and sustainable power systems.

mHUB focuses on supporting hardware and hardtech startups that drive innovation in manufacturing, energy efficiency, and medical technology. The program aims to enhance manufacturing competitiveness and sustainability through access to resources and mentorship.

Applicants should clearly articulate their value proposition and how their technology addresses market needs. Engaging with mentors and leveraging available resources is crucial for success.

Startups focused on hardware, industrial IoT, medtech, energy tech, and sustainable manufacturing are encouraged to apply.

Participants gain access to $6M+ in prototyping equipment, 11 specialized micro-labs, over 100 hours of expert-led workshops, and a strong network of corporate partners.

The program runs on 6-month cycles with an additional 18 months of follow-on support.

Since 2017, mHUB has supported over 100 startups that have collectively raised more than $2B in capital, demonstrating a high follow-on funding rate of 86%.
