Venture Capital
GoingVC’s 16‑week flagship fellowship helps aspiring and early‑career investors build the knowledge, network and real‑world experience required to land roles at venture firms or raise their own funds.
It combines live evening lectures led by industry VCs, curated reading lists, financial‑model assignments and group case studies that walk through the full lifecycle of early‑stage deals. Each cohort of roughly 50 participants meets twice a week online, then collaborates asynchronously in a private Slack community and dedicated Notion workspace.
Mid‑program, fellows join the Investor Program where they source real startups, run diligence with a mentor and pitch an internal investment committee. Alongside the curriculum, members get résumé reviews, mock interviews and access to a bi‑annual VC career fair that features dozens of hiring funds. Since 2016 the fellowship has graduated more than 800 alumni across 19 countries, over 60 percent of whom have worked in venture capital afterward.

GoingVC Partners takes use of its collaboration with GoingVC's flagship program to get access to a broad, worldwide network of both young and seasoned investors to source, follow, diligence, invest in, and assist early-stage firms all over the world. As a result, GVC Partners serves as a catalyst, assisting in the development of both the firms we invest in and the venture capital careers of many of the members of GoingVC. And, most importantly, as our network of new founders and investors grows, the number of new ventures we can support grows.
Candidates complete a short online form covering background, career goals and any prior investing activity. Selected applicants join a 20‑minute video interview focused on motivation, time‑commitment and “give‑first” mindset. Final decisions are issued within three weeks of interview.
Two cohorts per year – Spring (February – June) and Fall (August – December). Early‑bird applications open about three months before kickoff, with rolling reviews until four weeks pre‑start.
Participants pay tuition of $8,999 (US) or €7,449/£6,449 in Europe. Payment plans and Climb Credit loans are available, and the fee is fully refundable during the first 30 days if the program is not a fit.
Begin drafting answers at least four weeks before the deadline. Structure your story in three clear sections: professional background, evidence of venture curiosity (angel checks, thesis memos, startup advising) and ways you will “give” to classmates. Quantify impact – deals sourced, products shipped, communities led. Ask two founders or investors to be reference calls and mention them in your application. In the video interview, come prepared with a concise sector thesis and one recent startup you would fund; outline team, market and why your network helps. Follow up within 24 hours summarising how you will add value to the cohort.
