Scout Program
Ganas Ventures’ Deal Partner Program is the fund’s scout track: a 12‑month, part‑time experience that turns plugged‑in founders, operators and angel investors into the firm’s extended sourcing team across the United States and Latin America. Deal Partners receive month‑by‑month guidance on what the fund looks for—community‑powered B2B or B2C companies at pre‑seed and seed—and are given Airtable pipeline templates, warm intro language and direct Slack access to the investment team.
The program is deliberately flexible. There are no fixed office hours or homework; instead, partners spend 6–8 hours a week cultivating their own networks, reviewing decks and submitting qualified leads through a lightweight online form. When a referral results in a funded deal, the originating partner earns 20 percent of the fund’s carried‑interest share on that investment. Top performers are highlighted on the Ganas website, invited to quarterly portfolio summits and occasionally fast‑tracked for paid venture‑partner or principal roles.
Since launching in 2021 the network has grown to more than 400 scouts in 11 countries and has already sourced several core portfolio companies—including a Mexico‑based logistics marketplace and a US community‑commerce platform—that collectively represent over 25 million dollars in follow‑on funding. The program is entirely tuition‑free and fully remote; Ganas covers software, mentor sessions and community events so partners can focus purely on finding great founders.

Applications stay open year‑round. Candidates complete a short Airtable form, share two recent startup referrals and record a two‑minute Loom introducing their community reach. The Ganas team reviews on a rolling basis and onboards accepted partners every quarter via a one‑hour Zoom orientation and Slack invite.
Deal Partners receive 20 percent of Ganas Ventures’ carried‑interest share on every deal they originate that the fund ultimately invests in. Carry is paid pro‑rata after fund‑level returns are distributed; there is no salary, stipend or equity claw‑back.
The program is completely tuition‑free. Ganas covers software licences, data tools, swag and dinner costs for official meet‑ups; partners only fund incidental travel if they choose to attend an event.
Partners typically dedicate 6–8 hours per week for sourcing, founder calls and monthly learning sessions, but the schedule is self‑directed and can flex around full‑time jobs.
All interactions take place via Slack, Zoom and an internal Airtable CRM. Optional in‑person dinners are organised in Los Angeles, Miami, Mexico City and Santiago.
