Fellowship
Chicago:Blend launched the Chicago Venture Fellows in 2022 as a six-month peer learning cohort designed to prepare high-potential, aspiring venture capitalists for careers in venture capital. The program addresses longstanding inequities in Chicago's VC industry by broadening access to investing and increasing representation of historically marginalized groups in venture capital. The fellowship combines formal VC finance training with real-world experience at local VC firms. Participants engage in hands-on work including deal sourcing, due diligence, and investment analysis. The program culminates in Blend:Talks, where graduates present insights on emerging technologies and VC trends to an investor audience.
