Amplitude Ventures is a Canadian venture capital firm focused on healthcare and life sciences. The firm operates the Amplitude Fellowship, a paid, full-time summer program that brings together outstanding fellows for a series of in-depth, one-month explorations to identify hypotheses for novel healthcare ventures.
Every summer, the fellowship brings Canada's brightest health-focused PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and MDs to the Amplitude Ventures office in downtown Montreal. Fellows are immersed in the front end of the company creation model, getting exposed to an alternate career path beyond academia. The work involves leveraging scientific expertise to make observations and then understanding the concrete requirements needed to grow those observations into broad platforms that can positively impact human health.
The 2026 program runs from June through August 2026 out of the Montreal office, with a January 31, 2026 application deadline. Amplitude also runs a related Pre-Amp Fellowship, which cultivates the next generation of health science venture builders through a complementary program track.
