MIT ranked first for the 12th consecutive year, with Cambridge second and Oxford third. First edition under the revised method that added sustainability, employment outcomes and international research network indicators; Caltech fell to 15th and Berkeley entered the top 10.
Method changed. Positions in this edition are not directly comparable with the previous one.
Three new 5% indicators added (Sustainability, Employment Outcomes, International Research Network) and the weights of Academic Reputation and Faculty Student Ratio reduced (to 30% and 10% in the current method).
