Scout Program
Exit Fund operates a Scout Program designed to identify and source promising early-stage startup opportunities for the fund's investment team. The program leverages external deal finders to expand the firm's sourcing capabilities and access emerging entrepreneurs and companies. Scouts are typically current students, startup operators/founders, or aspiring investors with established networks and industry knowledge. This program aims to democratize access to venture capital deal-making while providing scouts with real investment exposure and potential financial upside through carried interest.

Exit Fund's Scout Program follows the emerging model of distributed venture capital sourcing. It aims to identify promising companies aligned with the fund's investment thesis while leveraging the networks of scouts to enhance deal flow.
Scouts earn carried interest on sourced deals, typically ranging from 2.5% to 10% of the fund carry pool. Payout is contingent on profitable exit, which often occurs years after the initial investment.
There is no cost to participate in the program.
Scouts engage with the program on a part-time basis, sourcing deals while maintaining other professional commitments.
The program operates remotely, allowing scouts to work part-time while leveraging their existing professional networks.
