Overview
Venture Factory for Scholars was a 2023 global venture incubation program for Indonesian scholars, academics, researchers, and diaspora founders building research-based ventures to solve future global challenges. The program was run by Lestari, the innovation arm of Pijar Foundation, and supported by Alpha JWC Ventures, Indonesia's Ministry of Youth and Sports, OISAA, Forum Diaspora Indonesia, universities, and local communities.

VFS sought research-based ventures from Indonesian scholars and diaspora that could address future global challenges, especially in agriculture, education, energy, health, sustainability, food waste, bioplastics, and aquaculture technology.
