1337 Ventures VC School is a paid training program positioned as Malaysia's complete guide to becoming a venture capitalist. Operated by 1337 Ventures, a Kuala Lumpur-based pre-seed and seed-stage VC firm and startup accelerator, the school provides practical instruction in venture finance for corporations, entrepreneurs, investors, and anyone interested in the asset class.
The program spans 8 weeks with 16 days of instruction, combining physical and virtual class-based learning with hands-on deliverables. The format includes classroom sessions, office hours, and networking events, designed to be interactive and immediately applicable. The curriculum covers four core pillars: finance fundamentals, deal flow analysis, legal frameworks for venture investing, and investment methodology. Participants learn to source deals, conduct due diligence, evaluate companies, and build an investment thesis, all taught by industry-leading experts from top-performing Malaysian VC firms.
Graduates gain access to 1337 Ventures' accelerator alumni network for deal flow and receive support in raising their initial fund through the firm's network and equity crowdfunding platform.

Open to corporations, entrepreneurs, investors, and anyone interested in venture capital investing in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have an updated CV or resume, and demonstrate English communication proficiency. No prior VC experience is required.
This is a paid program with no financial compensation to participants.
The program costs RM 10,000 (approximately $2,200 USD) per individual, with a RM 100 registration fee. A 50% scholarship is available for qualifying applicants.
