Xi’an Jiaotong University’s technology transfer center reports 238 company formations in Shaanxi and more than CNY 600 million in financing since 2021. The center says it helped form Shaanxi Aien Shuneng Carbon-based Technology Co. from Professor Zhao Yuqing’s team with support from Qinchuangyuan Chunzhong Fund, and reports nearly CNY 50 million raised and customer cooperation after market validation.

Shaanxi Daily reported that Xi’an Hankebute Intelligent Technology Co., founded in 2020 to develop AI- and machine-vision-enabled apparel production equipment, received a CNY 3 million unsecured Qinchuang Talent Loan in May 2025.

Xi’an’s Municipal Science and Technology Bureau published a call for proposals on 50 company technology challenges on September 30, 2026. As of October 2, 2026, the call invited eligible universities, research institutes, technology companies, teams, and individuals with relevant R&D capacity and compliance with PRC law to submit proposals by email by October 30, 2026. The notice covered hydrogen storage, commercial aerospace, smart terminals, and oil and gas energy; qualifying successful collaborations could access technology-transaction credit and policy interest subsidies.
