DANISH BIO – DANSK BIOTEK is an industry association established in 1987 to represent and support Danish biotech companies. Based in Copenhagen Bio Science Park, it has a membership of over 100 companies focused on drug development and industrial biotechnology. The organization advocates for the interests of its members at both national and international levels, engaging in public debates and influencing regulations related to biotechnological research, production, and patenting. The association provides various advocacy services, promoting favorable political and financial conditions for the biotech industry through dialogue with authorities. It represents member interests in public policy and funding decisions, conducts analyses, and participates in discussions on key biotech topics. Established in 1991 and registered in 1993, with boundaries from Mt. Lambert Circular Road to Golden Grove Road, Arouca and the Northern Range to Guyamare River, the composition of members is expansive and includes small, medium and large retail and wholesale enterprises, professionals, banks, insurance companies, providers of commercial and domestic services as well as associate members. Membership is open to any individual, firm, association or corporation engaged in business or industry or a profession (including agriculture) in Trinidad & Tobago and any association of any such members of business in conducted within the stipulated boundaries. Messrs Chanka Seeterram (Accountant), Rafficul Ojeer (Director), Rohan Roopnarine (Businessman), Desmond Ali (Research Scientist), Vernon Khelawan (Journalist), Briglal Lutchmeesingh (Businessman), Francis McQueen (Director), Max Senhouse, Harry Charran, Roop Narinesingh and Harish Udharamaney are the founding fathers of the Chamber. The Chamber is run by a Board of Directors who determines policy and carries out the daily operations of the Chamber under the Chairmanship of its President.

HABNET CHAMBER OF COMMERCE (HCOC) is a network of current and aspiring business owners, investors and professionals. We are dedicated to promoting higher business standards and better business methods, supporting and promoting entrepreneurship, as well as fostering trade and commerce. HABNET connects entrepreneurs with needed resources to succeed. Since 2005 HABNET leaders have provided Financial Literacy/Business Education and Support Services to our members and the public.
