It was formed through a collaboration of major cooperative organizations, including the Federation of Swedish Farmers, the Swedish Co-operative Union, the HSB cooperative housing association, and Fremia. The organization aims to enhance knowledge about cooperative enterprises and improve the public perception of the cooperative business model. The primary activities of Svensk Kooperation include disseminating knowledge about cooperatives, shaping public opinion, modernizing the image of the cooperative sector, and conducting research on the cooperative economy. It plays a significant role in the Swedish economy, representing the 100 largest cooperative businesses that employ around 100,000 people and generate substantial annual turnover. The cooperative sector contributes approximately 10% to Sweden's GDP, with a combined turnover projected at SEK 676 billion in 2024. The organization is guided by core values such as democracy, sustainability, longevity, involvement, and profitability.

The Swedish-Canadian Chamber of Commerce (SCCC) is a not-for-profit membership-based business association established in 1965 and located in Toronto, Ontario. It serves as a platform for fostering connections between Swedish and Canadian businesses, promoting trade and cultural exchange. The SCCC emphasizes values such as quality, tradition, openness, innovation, and sustainability. The Chamber's mission is to facilitate business and social development between Sweden and Canada. It connects individuals and companies with shared interests, helping Swedish businesses access Canadian markets and vice versa. The SCCC organizes networking events, seminars, and peer-to-peer interest groups to encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing. Members benefit from promotional opportunities, access to a wide network, and various discounts. Notable members include leading Swedish companies like Alfa Laval, Ericsson, IKEA, and Volvo Trucks.
