Announced in February 2021, Spoke is True Ventures’ first formal scout initiative.
The programme equips a curated group of operators, founders and subject‑matter experts from the firm’s network with capital and mentorship to invest in early‑stage startups that fit True’s people‑first seed thesis. Scouts (“Spokes”) receive access to investment templates, direct partner guidance and quarterly meet‑ups to share pipeline and best practices.
By decentralising sourcing beyond the partnership, True aims to surface founders from a broader range of geographies, backgrounds and industries.
