The NVCA Diversity Task Force was established in December 2014 to advance greater diversity within the venture capital industry and broader startup ecosystem. It has evolved into multiple initiatives addressing systemic inequities in founder access, investor diversity, and entrepreneurial opportunity. The independent nonprofit, Venture Forward, continues this work with a focus on diversity, inclusion, and access in venture and startups.
