Deep Checks is a founder-to-investor matching platform built by Julian Capital, a deeptech seed fund, to efficiently connect deeptech founders worldwide with venture capital investors specializing in their specific technology niches. The platform serves a network of 50+ deeptech-focused VCs, angel investors, and startup founders. Every 3 weeks, participating funds' analysts review submitted decks to surface the most interesting opportunities, providing founders with priority access to investors' inboxes and reducing the chance of overlooking promising ventures.

Designed for Scouts, Investors, Researchers. The program is remote. Participation is generally part time.
Who it is for
The Scout Program requires two categories of participants:
- Experienced Investors: Must have written deeptech angel checks or scouted deals for venture funds previously
- Scientists & Technical Experts: No previous investment experience required; ideal for those curious about raising their own fund or angel investing who have a unique network or deep expertise in deeptech
Applicants must demonstrate either significant investment experience or specialized technical domain expertise in frontier technologies.
