Overview

CancerX Accelerator’s 2026 cohort was a participation cycle operated through a public-private partnership whose hosts CancerX identifies as Advocate Health and Moffitt Cancer Center. The application FAQ called for a validated product or solution ready to scale, a completed clinical proof-of-concept pilot involving at least 50 patients living with cancer, at least 10 full-time employees or equivalent, and a designated liaison for engagement with the selection team. Applicants also needed a digital solution related to one of the FAQ’s four theme areas.

The planned experience combined monthly virtual curriculum sessions with four in-person events over five months. The FAQ planned the first in-person event at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. CancerX described strategic partnership opportunities with healthcare organizations and investors, access to a digital-health and oncology mentorship network, and customized programming. The FAQ said champions would meet with participating finalists to discuss their goals and approach. CancerX announced that 12 companies were selected for the third cohort in January 2026; this establishes selection, not completion. The FAQ and recruitment announcement differ on the planned end month, and the FAQ states that results are not guaranteed.
