LIVE RIGA, officially known as the Riga Investment and Tourism Agency (RITA), was established in April 2021 under the authority of the Riga City Council. Its mission is to enhance Riga's international profile as a business and tourism destination while promoting sustainable investment. The agency acts as a free-of-charge partner for investors and entrepreneurs, providing support through co-financing programs and ecosystem facilitation. RITA focuses on various sectors, including Global Business Services, ICT, and startups, and actively engages in the international startup circuit, participating in events like TechChill and Slush. The agency does not make direct investments but instead incentivizes foreign and local capital into the Riga startup community.

RITA provides access to co-financing programs, institutional introductions, startup Visa assistance, and free advisory services to founders and investors. It facilitates connections within the startup ecosystem and supports the development of infrastructure that attracts and retains high-caliber founders.
