The Bootcamp is described for solo developers and small teams who already have the skills needed to create a game. Swiss Game Hub says it is not suited to games already in development.
The Bootcamp advertises instruction from studio heads behind commercially successful games and lessons in setting development goals, finding a promising game niche, choosing a game idea, and developing a game loop. Participants who are not Swiss Game Hub residents receive three months of Flex Space; existing residents receive a 50% discount for three months instead.
Digital Kingdom states that “Blessed be the chamber” was created during the first Swiss Game Hub Bootcamp. The creator of “Layover” credits it as a game made in two months for the Bootcamp and labels it a prototype.
