WHAT WE OFFER - Remote, work-from-anywhere flexibility. We're a remote-first workplace, so you can set up your office at home, at a coworking space, or on the beach if you'd like — as long as you have a reliable internet connection and are available during normal business hours. - We also encourage regular in-person visits with your clients when possible. - Flexible work schedule to promote a healthy work-life balance. - A collaborative, communicative culture driven by our Core Purpose + Values. We work with incredibly smart people who love to learn and share what they know. If this sounds like a team you'd like to be a part of, we'd love to hear from you. - New Business Bonus Program - Bring us a new client, get rewarded. Reporting to: Venture Lead, New UK Distribution Business This role sits within a new UK distribution business being launched by Fasanara. It is not a position within Fasanara Capital. Working pattern Office-led, with regular external investor and intermediary meetings Compensation Competitive base salary with performance-linked upside The opportunity Fasanara Capital is launching a new UK distribution business connecting high-net-worth individuals and family offices with Fasanara-manufactured private credit notes and selected private-markets opportunities. The venture combines Fasanara's investment-product manufacturing and balance sheet with the Venture Lead's established investor network and placement relationships. This is the first and most important commercial hire for the new division. Working directly with the Venture Lead, you will help build the distribution engine from the outset: opening relevant doors, developing investor appetite and taking opportunities through to completed placements. What you will do Originate opportunities with UK high-net-worth individuals and small-to-mid family offices, both directly and through multifamily offices, wealth managers and IFAs. Own the commercial process from initial conversation and qualification through follow-up, objection handling and close. Use your existing network intelligently, identifying which relationships have current or potential appetite for private credit and differentiated private-markets investments. Present the proposition credibly at a commercial level and bring the Venture Lead and Fasanara investment colleagues into detailed product discussions when appropriate. Build and manage a disciplined pipeline, with clear activity, engagement and conversion goals. Help establish the sales process, market feedback loop and operating rhythm for a business designed to grow into a wider team. Requirements At least 10 years of relevant experience in UK wealth, family-office or intermediary investment distribution. A deep and credible personal network among UK HNW investors, family offices, multifamily offices, wealth managers and/or IFAs. Clear evidence that you have personally placed and closed investment products, rather than only managed relationships, made introductions or sold a firm's broader services. Experience across more than one investment product. Private credit, alternatives, structured products, EIS/SEIS or other tax-advantaged investments would be particularly relevant. The ability to distinguish between relationships you own and those where you are a secondary contact, and to assess realistically where investor appetite sits. A goal-oriented, entrepreneurial and self-sufficient working style. You will be expected to do the execution yourself and build without the infrastructure of a large institution. Genuine interest in the proposition and the credibility to build long-term trust around a differentiated product.

USD 6 billion AUM (as of December 31, 2025) in Fintech strategies on behalf of pension funds and insurance companies in Europe and North America. With c.110 employees globally, we are a pioneer investor in Fintech Lending, enabling Real Economy Impact. Fasanara manages the largest and longest standing Fintech Lending fund in Europe and invests in early-stage Fintech companies via its venture capital vehicles, using its central role in the Fintech ecosystem to identify and back revolutionary new businesses. Our Culture We are strong believers in meritocracy, and we seek to reward people based on impact and excellence. There is no bureaucracy, typical of large organisations. The environment is collaborative, entrepreneurial, and trust based. We set ambitious goals, work extremely hard, stress the importance of teamwork, and adhere to the highest level of excellence in everything we do. We are only as good as our team. Thus, we are building the firm around exceptional talent. About Fasanara Fund Controllers Team The Fund Controllers team sits within Fasanara’s Operations function and is responsible for maintaining robust financial and operational control across the firm’s funds and investment vehicles. The team works across all of Fasanara’s main strategies — Alternative Credit, Venture Capital, Quant and Tokenisation — providing a central control function between the Investment teams, external fund administrators and the firm’s wider infrastructure. Our objective is not simply to review NAVs produced by third-party administrators. We aim to develop a deep understanding of each fund, its investments and its financial position, allowing us to independently challenge valuations, reconciliations, fees, expenses and other components of the NAV, and to ensure issues are identified and resolved promptly. As Fasanara continues to launch new products and expand into new strategies, the Fund Controllers team is expected to grow with the business rather than simply add manual capacity. Our goal is to build processes and systems that allow us to support an increasingly broad and complex investment platform while maintaining strong controls, shortening NAV cycles and providing reliable operational support to the Investment teams and the wider firm. About the Role The role sits within the Fund Controllers vertical and provides broad exposure across the firm’s investment strategies, including Alternative Credit, Venture Capital, Quant and Tokenisation. Within Alternative Credit, this includes a diverse range of underlying asset classes and strategies such as r eceivables, consumer lending, sports finance, real estate and CLOs, providing an opportunity to develop experience across a wide range of fund structures, investment types and valuation methodologies. This is a hands-on role combining fund control, data analysis, process improvement and technology . You will work closely with third-party administrators and other service providers, while partnering internally with the Investment, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Technology and wider Operations teams. The environment is fast-paced and constantly evolving. We are therefore looking for someone who is highly analytical, comfortable working with large volumes of data and keen to understand how funds and their underlying investments work, rather than simply operating established processes. What You’ll Do Review and control fund NAVs, working closely with third-party administrators to ensure calculations are complete, accurate and appropriately supported. Develop a detailed understanding of the funds and their underlying investments in order to challenge valuations, accruals, fees and other NAV components where appropriate. Perform and oversee reconciliations of investments, cash, income and other balance sheet items, investigating and resolving differences. Track and control fund-level capital activity, including subscriptions, redemptions, capital calls, distributions, FX and allocations. Assist with the processing, monitoring and control of fund expenses, including invoices, accruals, allocations and reimbursements. Support the operational and accounting treatment of investments across a broad range of asset classes, from private credit and venture capital investments to CLOs, quantitative strategies and tokenised assets. Coordinate with auditors, administrators and other service providers throughout the financial statement audit process, ensuring information and supporting documentation are delivered accurately and on time. Work closely with Investment, Finance, Legal, Compliance and Operations colleagues to ensure that new transactions, structures and products are appropriately reflected within the funds’ operational and accounting processes. Analyse large and complex datasets, identifying inconsistencies, exceptions and potential control issues. Work closely with our Technology team to continue developing Fasanara’s internal loan and fund management platform, helping define and continuously improve its workflows, controls and integrations. You will bring an operational and fund-control perspective to system development, identifying opportunities to automate processes, strengthen controls and reduce manual intervention as the platform and the business evolve. Build and enhance Excel-based controls, reconciliations and analytical tools, using VBA and other functionality to reduce manual work and operational risk. Continuously look for opportunities to automate, simplify and improve workflows, rather than accepting inefficient processes as they are. Help strengthen the documentation and control framework of the Fund Controllers team as Fasanara’s platform and range of strategies continue to grow. Requirements Preferably up to 3 years of relevant experience in fund accounting, fund audit, fund operations or another role providing equivalent exposure. A strong analytical mindset, with an interest in understanding the economics of investments and how they ultimately flow through a fund’s NAV and financial statements. Strong numerical skills and the ability to work confidently with large volumes of data, identify anomalies and investigate discrepancies. Advanced Excel skills and an interest in using technology to solve operational problems. Experience with VBA, including automating files, building controls and designing bespoke analytical reports, is particularly valuable. A good understanding of investment funds and fund accounting. Exposure to alternative investments, private credit or venture capital would be beneficial. A process-improvement mindset: someone who naturally looks for ways to make processes more efficient, scalable and robust. Strong attention to detail and a control-oriented approach, without losing sight of the commercial purpose of the activity. Comfortable working independently, taking ownership and managing multiple competing priorities in a high-pace, high-noise environment. The ability and willingness to learn quickly. Fasanara operates across several different and evolving strategies, and we do not expect candidates to arrive with experience in all of them. Strong communication skills and the confidence to interact with internal stakeholders, administrators, auditors and other external service providers. ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or progress towards one, is a plus but not a requirement. What Excites Us We particularly value people who are curious, resourceful and intellectually engaged with what they are doing. The ideal candidate will not simply reconcile numbers or review an administrator’s output, but will want to understand why the numbers look the way they do, how the underlying investments work and how the process could be improved . You should enjoy working with data and be comfortable using Excel creatively to turn large datasets into useful controls, reports and automated workflows. Equally importantly, you should be comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial environment where new funds, products and strategies regularly create problems that do not yet have an established playbook . This role should suit someone looking for significantly broader exposure than a traditional fund accounting position, with the opportunity to work across Alternative Credit, Venture Capital, Quant and Tokenisation within the same platform. Benefits Our benefits include: Performance-related Bonus Scheme Private Medical & Dental Insurance through Bupa (including children's cover) Life Insurance, Income Protection & Critical Illness Cover Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Salary sacrifice pension with Hargreaves Lansdown (currently matched up to 10%) Enhanced Maternity & Paternity Leave Emergency Parental Leave, Emergency Childcare & Nursery Benefit Cycle to Work Scheme Charity Giving through CAF Annual Wellbeing Budget Team socials, annual Summer & Christmas parties, and other events throughout the year

As the de-facto senior finance team member for such clients, you'll own the numbers month over month, architect & manage the right systems, become a trusted voice to CEOs, physician leadership, and investors, and help clients navigate the capital requirements, entity mechanics, compliance boundaries, payment flows and unit economics that make the MSO/PC structure work. YOUR TYPICAL, ATYPICAL, DAY MAY INCLUDE: - Oversee monthly close, budgeting, and forecasting across the management company and affiliated PC(s), month after month. - Keep MSO/PC economics clean: intercompany billing, cost allocations, management fee settlements, and clear guardrails between the entities to ensure compliance. - Advise the CEO and physician leadership on financial strategy, including capital planning, growth, management fee strategy and execution. - Own the finance section of Board meetings, including MSO/PC KPI dashboards and investor updates. - Support fundraising and M&A e.g. sizing rounds, modeling scenarios, speaking investors' and acquirers' language. - Keep the fundamentals sharp: revenue cycle, cash flow planning, vendor spend, controls, growth potential and audit readiness. - Flag opportunities to bring in Burkland's bookkeeping, tax, and HR services. ABOUT YOU - Direct MSO/PC experience — management fee arrangements, intercompany settlements, practice-level unit economics. Investment banking, venture capital, or corporate development background is a strong plus. - 7–10 years in finance/operations, ideally in healthcare growth sectors (digital health, telehealth, behavioral health/therapy services). - Excellent Excel/Sheets skills, plus strong familiarity with financial technology platforms such as QBO, Carta, Rippling, Ramp, Rillet, etc. - Experience with current AI tools, skills and LLMs as applied to the Office of the CFO - financial analysis, processes, accounting, reporting, etc. - MBA or CPA preferred, not required. - Strategic judgment and exceptional soft skills. - Candidates based in Austin, Boston, New York, or Northern California are preferred but not required. WHAT WE OFFER - 100% remote, work-from-anywhere flexibility. Forget the commute! We're a remote-first workplace, so you can set up your office at home, at a coworking space, or on the beach if you'd like — as long as you have a reliable internet connection. - Flexible work schedule to promote a healthy work-life balance. - A collaborative, communicative culture driven by our Core Purpose + Values. We work with incredibly smart people who love to learn and share what they know. If this sounds like a team you'd like to be a part of, we'd love to hear from you. - Incentive structures for referrals and business expansions. - New Business Bonus Program - Bring us a new client, get rewarded. If you introduce a client who wasn't already on Burkland's radar, you're eligible for a bonus — no cap on how many. If you personally do the CFO work for that client, you earn a percentage of collections on your billed CFO hours for the life of the client. If someone else on the team handles the CFO work, you still earn 10% of collections on that client's first year of invoices. - Cross-Sell Bonus Program - Spot a new opportunity with an existing client you CFO for, and help make it happen? Earn a percentage of collections on the first year of invoices for that new service line. Head of Finance Economic Interest - Serving as substantive Head of Finance for a multi-service client? Earn a percentage of Burkland's collections across that client's services (excluding Strategic Finance). Burkland Associates is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. AE Studio logoJob

AE Studio

AE Studio is a development, data science, and design studio that works closely with founders and executives to create custom software and machine learning solutions. We build products, platforms, and internal ventures that increase agency for all conscious beings. We combine world-class software engineering, AI expertise, and product design to ship ambitious projects that matter. We’re looking for a Full-Stack Developer who bridges modern web engineering with practical AI; someone who can design, build, and ship production-ready, AI-powered applications while maintaining the standards of a top-tier software developer. What You’ll Do Design and ship end-to-end applications from prototype to production across frontend, backend, and cloud. Build clean, scalable APIs and services and integrate AI models where they create real value. Create AI pipelines (data ingestion, preprocessing, embeddings, retrieval, orchestration) that are reliable and maintainable. Engineer prompting strategies and guardrails for real-world performance (latency, cost, accuracy), not just demo hype. Integrate AI features into full-stack apps with robust APIs, frontend UX, and CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with designers, PMs, and engineers to deliver polished product experiences. Continuously evaluate new AI tools/models for performance, cost, and fit. Write production-grade, testable, maintainable code in TypeScript/JavaScript and Python (and other languages as needed). What We’re Looking For 7+ years of professional software engineering experience. Proven track record shipping production applications (links to live products welcome). Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic), embeddings, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks. Strong command of modern web stacks (e.g., React/Next.js, Node.js/Nest/Fastify, Python/FastAPI) and cloud infrastructure. Solid grasp of architecture, scalability, performance, and security. A bias toward shipping with best practices (testing, code reviews, monitoring/observability). Clear communication, self-management, and comfort in a collaborative remote environment. Comfortable picking up new languages and frameworks, leveraging modern AI dev tools to move faster. What Sets You Apart Experience fine-tuning models or training custom models on domain-specific data. Contributions to open-source AI or developer tooling. Mature approach to prompt engineering and evaluation (beyond trial-and-error). Background in data engineering or MLOps. Passion for AI alignment, agency-increasing technologies, and ethical AI development. If you can write prompts that work today and code that still works in two years, we want to talk to you. Salary range from $115k/year to $185k/year (if you're based in LA). Not in the range? That's fine, you can still apply and our team may fit you in a more senior position that we're not actively hiring for right now, since we are growing fast and may have other openings soon. EQUITY Working at AE means receiving equity in our client projects and in Skunkworks ventures. The equity is priced at $0 when granted for tax reasons, but AE invests millions into these projects. Equity comes from reduced margins on client work and internal funding. You get a real stake in the things you help build. The longer you stay, the more value you create and the more equity you receive. If you leave on good terms, you can retain 20% of your equity by staying engaged. If you spin out a Skunkworks venture, you retain 100%.
