The Hague Student Investment Fund (HSiF)

The Hague Student Investment Fund (HSiF) was founded in 2020 as a research project within the Research Group New Finance of The Hague University of Applied Sciences (THUAS) and has since evolved into an independent foundation. HSiF aims to foster entrepreneurship among students in the region by providing startup capital, financial and business advice, and establishing a network and community for young entrepreneurs. The organization focuses on supporting student entrepreneurs in The Hague by offering funding for promising and impactful business ideas, providing soft investments that require returns only when the business achieves success. In addition to financial support, HSiF offers guidance through mentorship, legal and accounting advice, and organizes workshops and networking events to connect students with professionals and investors.
