Public Private Partnership Authority

The Public Private Partnership Authority (P3A) was established by the Government of Pakistan to promote private sector investment in public infrastructure projects. Headquartered in Islamabad, P3A aims to address funding gaps in public sector infrastructure by fostering partnerships between public and private entities. The authority's mandate includes structuring, facilitating, and overseeing public-private partnership (PPP) transactions, particularly in sectors such as transportation, healthcare, and urban development. P3A operates under the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives and has a pipeline of over 160 projects across various federal government agencies.

P3A adds value by providing a structured framework for public-private partnerships, facilitating the mobilization of private capital for large-scale infrastructure projects. It engages with international firms for feasibility studies and transaction advisory, ensuring that projects are bankable and aligned with national priorities.
