PT BAHANA ARTHA VENTURA (BAV)

PT Bahana Artha Ventura (BAV) was founded on March 11, 1991, as a subsidiary of PT Bahana Pembinaan Usaha Indonesia (Persero), a state-owned enterprise established on April 17, 1973. BAV's mission is to develop the real sector through financing for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. The organization specializes in providing venture capital financing and management assistance to MSMEs, focusing on businesses that are feasible but not yet bankable according to traditional banking standards. BAV has financed approximately 54,000 MSME partners with a cumulative financing amount nearing IDR 9 trillion, contributing to the creation of around 2.1 million jobs.

BAV adds value to its portfolio companies through comprehensive management assistance, governance support, and access to a vast network of regional venture-capital affiliates.
