Inneo, formerly known as The Innovation Institute, is a for-profit healthcare innovation and investment organization founded in 2013. It is collaboratively owned by six nonprofit healthcare systems across the United States and is headquartered in Brea, California. Inneo focuses on developing solutions that lower costs, improve patient outcomes, and address strategic challenges in healthcare. The company operates through three main platforms. The Inneo Lab is a medical device technology incubator that collaborates with clinicians to identify needs and commercialize products, having successfully launched 25 medical technology products. The Inneo Alliance provides operational support and advisory services to health systems, while Inneo Invest focuses on healthcare-related investments, including venture capital and real estate. Inneo engages over 15,000 clinicians and caregivers, leveraging a nationwide clinical network for idea generation and market validation.
