An Uncommon Workplace for Independent Workers

The Experience Exchange (TEE) is a private workspace and community in Singapore designed for experienced professionals navigating what comes next. We opened in November 2025 with a simple observation: most coworking spaces are built for scale — designed for startups, small teams, or corporates seeking flexibility. They serve a purpose, but do not reflect the needs of individuals operating beyond corporate structures. TEE was created to address that gap. This is not a traditional coworking model. There are no hot desks, no volume-driven memberships, and no startup hustle culture. Instead, TEE is intentionally designed for founders, advisors, board members, investors, and senior professionals who value discretion, depth of conversation, and a more considered pace of work. Located in a conserved heritage shophouse, TEE provides a versatile environment for focused work, confidential meetings, boardroom discussions, and curated gatherings — but the space is only part of the proposition. At its core, TEE is about connection without performative networking. The transition beyond corporate life — often described as a "second act" — is rarely linear. It involves a shift from structure to autonomy, from progression to purpose, and often a redefinition of identity. While each journey is different, the need for meaningful exchange is shared. TEE offers a base for individuals who operate independently but do not want to operate in isolation — where experience, perspective, and trust are the primary currencies. Beyond the space, curated programmes, partnerships, and The Experience Exchange podcast create a platform for deeper conversations around reinvention, longevity, wellbeing, and contribution. By bringing together space, community, and dialogue, TEE supports experienced professionals in shaping their next phase — on their own terms.

The Makers Hub is a nonprofit makerspace organization based in San Pedro, California, founded in 2021. Its mission is to empower individuals and communities by providing access to tools, equipment, and creative spaces. The organization focuses on fostering innovation and creativity through a communal workspace. The Makers Hub serves youth aged 7-18 with dedicated programming and offers various initiatives for the broader community. Its primary services include access to a well-equipped makerspace featuring tools for woodworking, metalworking, CNC machining, electronics, and 3D design and printing. Additionally, the Compton Tool Library allows community members to borrow equipment for their projects. The organization also hosts workshops to help individuals learn new skills and turn their ideas into tangible projects. With a commitment to developing a "maker mindset," The Makers Hub aims to create pathways for economic opportunity and community transformation. It operates with a small team and has built a community of around 100 members who actively participate in its programs.

The Pearl CLT is Charlotte's first innovation district, located at the intersection of Baxter and McDowell streets. Officially opened in June 2025, it aims to foster medical education, research, and health technology innovation through a public-private partnership led by Atrium Health and Wexford Science & Technology. The district honors the legacy of the historic Brooklyn neighborhood while creating over 5,500 on-site jobs and 11,500 regional jobs over 15 years. The Pearl features more than 700,000 square feet of development, including the Wake Forest University School of Medicine Charlotte campus and the IRCAD North America headquarters. It offers flexible, lab-ready office and lab spaces designed for startups, academic institutions, and health technology innovators. The district also includes retail spaces to enhance the community experience. With a focus on collaboration and community engagement, The Pearl is positioned as a global destination for medical advancement and economic growth in Charlotte.

Theanna is an equity-free startup operating system and community platform designed specifically for women tech founders. Founded in 2024 and based in Hilliard, Ohio, Theanna supports women from the idea stage through to launch, revenue, and growth. It offers a structured alternative to traditional accelerators, providing ongoing support without taking equity. Theanna features an AI-powered platform that includes personalized milestone tracking, structured operational frameworks, and access to a community of women founders. It also offers expert-led workshops, live engineering support, and specialized AI tools to help non-technical founders navigate the startup process. The subscription model is priced at $99 per month or $1,000 per year, allowing users to maintain full ownership of their companies. Theanna aims to empower women building tech-enabled businesses by providing clarity, structure, and a supportive network.
